Is It Really September?!

My dad arrived on Friday, all the way from Oklahoma! Here, Logan is greeting him with a hug.

Back inside, Dad unloaded gifts that he brought for Logan and Levi. He brought one of Levi's favorite things; matchbox cars and he also brought wooden flutes for him!
Knowing that Logan enjoys collecting rocks, my dad brought him his very own rock box filled with crystals and rocks from my dad's rock hounding.

On Saturday, we had dinner at my sister's house. I love this picture of my sister and my dad.
On Sunday, we went to the mountains to rock hound. Me and the boys were in the backseat and it was really windy back there, as you can see. :P
Logan likes to exercise his bravery.

Hugs! This was so hard for me to say goodbye.

Levi's turn for hugs! I think he was concerned about me because I was crying, so we managed a sandwich hug.
You can see Logan and JT in the background as my dad pulls away. Bye, Dad!

He did SO good!
Here he is kicking the ball.
Logan is #2.

In between plays, taking a mini break from running.

Go, Logan!
No matter how old he is, he's still my baby. He fell asleep on the couch and I had to capture this moment. My favorite ultrasound picture of Logan is similar to this one, his feet were crossed in the womb.
So peacefully sleeping!
Kicking the soccer ball.

Photographer Logan And Things

Logan often asks to use the camera so he can take pictures. I love when he does this because we get some amazing shots. This time, I've decided to post a few...a very few...Below is a slice of pizza which was our dinner that night.

Logan was almost finished with his piece.
Logan took a darling picture of Levi.
Levi posed Elmo so that Logan could get a good shot. That's awesome teamwork!
Levi talking about what to take a picture of next.
The last of Logan's pictures, a self-portrait.
We made a paper chain (with big links which is a little easier to tear than little links), representing the days until Grandpa Warren's visit. Each night, at bedtime, the boys tear off one link.
While Logan's at school, Levi often plays with our neighbors and this is Ashton (Levi in the background). It's so cute to hear them communicate in their baby babble.
Unfortunately, Logan was sick on Sunday night and therefore missed school on Monday. I hope we don't have many more sick days! This was taken on Tuesday morning. He was happy and ready to return to school.
Levi is going through a winking-phase as he winks a lot of the time. This is him enjoying his Tuesday with Logan's Elmo. Levi often carries Logan's Elmo and stuffed Spider around while Logan's at school. I think it's his way of being closer to him. :)
Levi, about to watch one of his favorite DvD's, "Potty Power".
After school each day, we empty Logan's school shoes because they always have wood chips (from the playground) inside. He told me, "Mommy, those shoes are for people who like getting wood chips in their shoes." That was his polite way of telling me he doesn't like the shoes.
After school, on Tuesday, was Logan's first soccer game. Here he is pictured getting dressed in his uniform. GO #2!!!
Putting his soccer socks on.
All geared up!
"Mommy, does it look like I'm kicking a ball?"

The game has begun! Logan's team, The Eagles, played The Sharks.
See number 2?! That's my boy!!

Logan, second from the right.
Half-time! Logan enjoyed his cold water and a mom brought apples and bananas for the half-time snack.
About to begin the second half.
They rotated players in and out of the game so all teammates had the chance to play. This is Logan and me during one of Logan's breaks.
Here is Levi and Daddy.
Logan is on the left (in black), kicking the ball. Go, Logan!!

You can see the smile on his face as he runs, in this picture.
Team huddle after the game. There's Coach Ryan and the team mom who brought Oreo's and Fruit Kooler drinks for the players. Logan was in the huddle, on the left (not pictured).
