Logan awoke to his very own alarm clock at 7:20 a.m. on the first morning of 1st grade. He had packed his lunch the night before in his very first school lunchbox.

He chose what to put in his lunch; water, apple juice, pickle, cheese & meat roll up, vanilla pudding, pizza flavored Pringles and 2 soft vanilla Oreo cookies. I think we'll attempt to put some healthier options for tomorrow's lunch. :)

Logan is enjoying his first day of 1st grade breakfast; Marshmallow Fruit Loops and a cup of white milk. Gotta love the sugary cereal. :P

So happy and excited about the adventures that await at his new school!

"Mommy, take a picture of me doing this."

"Now, take a picture of me doing this."

"Take a picture of me doing this", as he paused for the picture.

Logan in his school uniform and ready to head out the door. "Mommy, get my lunchbox".

"Mommy, wait..." and he ran out of sight so I could get just his lunchbox.

Now he wanted a picture taken WITH his lunchbox.

Doh, Daddy took the picture super fast and we weren't ready. :P

There we go! We're almost ready to get in the car.

Happy 1st grader with his proud daddy.

In the car, on the way to school.

Levi was tired and unwilling to smile. I love this morning frown, though.

Logan laughed really hard at Levi's silly frown. Levi ended up laughing, too.

This was at the entrance and I saw it as a photo op. It was difficult to get a good picture with all the parents and students going in and out of the school. But, we managed. "In God We Trust". What a great school!

We had received a phone call on Friday evening that Logan had been accepted into Noah Webster Academy. We were already planning to have him attend Aspen Elementary again this year, so after we received that phone call, we went shopping for all of his school supplies and uniforms that NWA required for the school year. So, when we arrived to school this morning, we went to the office to find out who Logan's teacher was this year. We turned in some paperwork that I had previously filled out, and one of the many (a full office staff = a good sign that it's a great school and that things will be taken care of) office staff told us Logan would be in Mrs. Harris' class. After hearing that, Logan looked up at me and said, "Oh, so she's already married". We had talked about the difference between Mrs. and Ms. a few weeks before this and apparently, he remembered the discussion we'd had. The picture below is of Logan in front of Mrs. Harris' first grade class. Room number 137. One pleasant surprise was that each classroom had TWO teachers!

We found his desk and as I was going to take a picture, Mrs. Harris came over to join in. She was SO sweet and attentive. I like her already!

Logan and Mrs. Harris.

Some of the hall decor. I was impressed by all of the constitutional documents and pictures. This is my kind of school!!

This is just inside the front doors, really fancy stuff. :P

After school, we picked Logan up and he said, "That was WAY too short". I'm glad he thinks so and that he enjoyed his first 7 hour school day. When we got home, he wanted cut up apples. He wanted to put sprinkles on by himself. It looks perty, but I think I'm gonna have to monitor this sugar diet of his. Lol.

All in all, it was a great day! Levi enjoyed the attention he received at home, however, he did miss Logan. He would repeatedly ask, "Where Gee-gee go?" (Where'd Logan go?) By the end of the day, Levi would say, "Gee-gee cool" (Logan is at school). I'm looking forward to tomorrow and feel soooo relieved and grateful that Heavenly Father has heard my prayers and taken care of my concerns all with Logan's acceptance to this school. I am so happy and it seems that Logan is, too!!!!
