Fifth Day of 1st Grade, Dirt, and Soccer

Today was Logan's first "early-out" day at school. This means that school is out 3 hours before the normal time. His favorite part about the day was that each student ate lunch at their classroom desk, instead of in the Cafeteria.
This is Levi. A very dirty Levi. If you can see, his hair had inches of dirt piled on top. I caught the neighbor boy pouring BUCKETS of dirt over Levi's head. Needless to say that I gave him an immediate bath, which left the tub thick with dirt. Frustrating! Especially, when I've asked this boy not to pour dirt on my baby before. This is the worst it's ever been, though.
Logan's first soccer practice! He did great!!! Their team coach, Ryan Gardner, is really good. The other neat thing is that Hayden, a former Kindergarten classmate of Logan's (from Aspen Elementary), is on the team, too!
Logan warming up before practice by kicking the ball around.
The coach explaining a few things to the players.
And, practice begins! It was so fun to watch! My favorite moment was when the coach told everyone to "dribble" their ball down the field and Logan attempted to dribble his ball, as if it were a basketball. How cute is that?!
After practice, Logan received his uniform; jersey (he's #2!), shorts, socks and ball. We previously bought the shin guards and cleats, ourselves. His first game is next week and they have two games a week. GO EAGLES!!!!
