Ok, so it's been a while since my last post. Therefore, this beastly entry shows happenings between October and December. It's random at times, but I finally did it. :) Love to all!!! Happy Holidays!!!

In mid-October, we celebrated my mom's birthday. Pictured here, Shaina, me, Mom, Sheryl and Sheree. Sheila was working and missed the party. :(

Each day, during the week of Halloween, there was a different themed day. Monday was Crazy Hair Day at school. Logan decided on a blue mo-hawk.
Tuesday was Red Shirt Day.
Wednesday was Pajama Day. Thursday was Team Shirt Day (not pictured).
JT and Logan often have light-saber/sword fights. 
Logan helped me wrap these suckers in tissue and string to hand out to trick-or-treaters. Cute little ghosts.
Logan wanted to capture the sunset as we were about to carve pumpkins. I'm glad he did, because it's gorgeous. :)

I volunteered to help out during Logan's school Halloween party. The scholars, here, are getting ready for a class picture.
After the classroom picture, there was a Halloween costume parade. Here is Logan.
Each class weaved in and out of the audience. Here you can see Mrs. Harris leading her class and Logan is in the center.
There were four stations during the party. I was in charge of the "Treat Station". The scholars decorated sugar cookies with Halloween candy.

It was freezing and rainy so we drove Sheila's car and left the back open so the kids could just jump out at each house but get warm in the car in between houese. Sheila and I sat in the back to ensure the kids safety.

When we returned to my mom's house, we found her in her Snuggi.
After Levi received his immunizations, his leg was sore. He wouldn't walk at all and would crawl when he needed to get somewhere. He asked us to bring his food to him as he sat on the couch and this is how he ate his meals for a few days. So cute!

Why is this underlined and blue?? :P We didn't have a bell for Logan to ring when he needed something so we got creative and had him use a rattle. He fell asleep holding it.
We set him up on the couch during the day. One time, he fell asleep with his leg propped up against the back of the couch.
Levi was so bored without his big brother with whom he loved to play. However, he managed to stay busy. He went into the bathroom to wash his hands after painting and this is what I discovered him doing. "Mommy, Robby (Robin) and Goofy swimmin' in duh water".
This is the t-shirt Logan wore during surgery. Dr. Hamilton said that it took longer than expected because his Adenoids were "HUGE", however, his tonsils were simpler to remove. Before surgery, they had Logan wear a "Buzz Light-Year" (oxygen) mask. He was to play the "Spider-Man" game and created webs on the screen (the heart monitor). He needed to breathe in and out while the nurses counted how many times he inhaled which would be his score. The score to beat was 38. He was SO determined to beat that score and we were excited to receive the news that Logan had beat the record with the score of 40!! (He was inhaling the anesthesia with each breath). Recovery lasted two weeks and consisted of a soft food diet. He enjoyed blue jell-o, sherbet ice cream, chicken soup, Sprite, etc. We attempted runny mashed potatoes, but they ended up sticking in his throat and couldn't be swallowed. Now, (3 weeks later) he's doing wonderfully! He's sleeping SO WELL!!!!!! He doesn't wake during the night, there's no gasping for air, no snoring, no bed-wetting, no stopping breathing....!!! It's been wonderful and we've all been able to rest easier knowing he is safely sleeping. He's also full of energy during the day and such a HAPPIER boy!! I'm so grateful for everyone's prayers and thoughts. Thank you!!! 
My mom, sisters and I had a girls night in. We gathered at Sheree's house and made a spaghetti dinner. It was a lot of fun, but we missed Sheila (she had to work, AGAIN). Looking forward to the next one! Here is Sheree in her appropriate apron.

THANKSGIVING!!!!!Mom had planned her Thanksgiving for Wednesday, the day before, so that we would all be able to visit with her. In previous years, everyone had two Thanksgivings to attend and my mom's was always rushed, leaving everyone time to visit in-laws. This year was fabulous!! I spent all day at my mom's, helping her prepare the feast. My boys enjoyed playing with new toys while we were in the kitchen.
Logan loves to help cook and he likes to peel potatoes and sweet potatoes, so that's just what he did! He was a big help!
My boys' Uncle Bud was unable to be there, however, he left two gifts for my boys. They are 18-wheeler replica's. The boys LOVED them and played for quite a while with them.
Then they zonked out, together, at the same time. Why can't I be that lucky at home?
Here is mom preparing some of the food. She and I had a lot of fun and we laughed a ton!
As the day grew on, family started showing up. Here I am with my niece and nephews and Soley.

The next day, I made my very first Thanksgiving dinner! JT worked all day but we definitely feasted after he returned home. On the menu: Warm rolls, cranberry-apple stuffing, corn, green beans and bacon, mashed potatoes, balsamic glazed cooked carrots, cranberry green salad, my mom's yam-bake "from 1972", turkey, and a double layer Pumpkin Pie. Yes, I made it ALL!! I did a good job, if I do say so myself and I'm looking forward to next year, as well. Unfortunately, JT got home from work too late to attend his side of the family's dinner :( He also missed out on my mom's dinner the day before, due to work. Maybe next year, he'll be able to enjoy those two, as well!

Thanksgiving night, I joined my sister, Sheree, and her kids and their friends, for Black Friday shopping. We started at the South Town Mall where we waited for 2+ hours (starting at 10 p.m.) for the mall to open. It was about 13 degrees outside and we sure felt it! My toes and fingers hurt by the time the doors open. But it was really nice to thaw out inside. It was a mad-house!!!!! We were third in line and when the security officers opened the door, people started shoving and hollering and screaming. I have to admit, it was a little scary at first. But...we survived!! We didn't get home til the next morning around 5-6ish? I think I'll do it again next year!
