Our summer started off with a bang! :P
This morning, Logan had his very first t-ball game! His team color is light blue and they are called The Dragons! The game was so amusing and exciting. I found myself laughing out loud several times because the players were so adorable. Let me paint the picture for you; ten children in the out-field (ages 5-7). When the batter would hit the ball near them, they would stand still in their assigned positions and would just stare at the ball, making no attempt to retrieve it. One out-fielder bent over to watch the ball roll between his legs. Other out-fielders would pile up on top of the ball, competing for it and often times they would emerge empty-handed, having lost their mit as well. It didn't take long after the first inning for the children to catch on, though. There were impressive hits and throws throughout the game, as well. It was really fun and I'm SOOOO happy that my sister, Sheree and her hubby, Nate, were able to be a part of it. It was AMAZING to have their support and witness their excitement for Logan's success during the game. Maybe next game, the weather will cooperate with us a little better. Despite the winter chill in the air, the kids were awesome! This is gonna be a great t-ball season, I can tell!!
On Friday afternoon, JT and Logan packed up and headed out for a Stake Father and Son camp-out. While I wasn't there and therefore have little to say about the occasion, JT did bring home pictures for me to post. So, enjoy!
