HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEVI!!!

On Sunday, we celebrated your birthday with mommy's extended side of the family. It was lots of fun and you got some really neat things! Although, you couldn't eat the birthday cake that Grandma made for you (you said, "KEW", and I agree, it was a cool cake), you did enjoy some colorful marshmallow's (which are your favorite treat). When it was time to make a birthday wish, you blew out your #2 candle, atop the cake, like a pro! You opened gifts with quiet excitement, every once in a while making comments like, "kew" (cool), "uck" (truck), "bocks" (blocks), "baw" (ball), "ba-oon" (balloon). We all thoroughly enjoyed watching your enjoyment. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Davis for hosting the birthday bash!

Yesterday, on your actual birthday, your older brother was SO excited because you were officially two years old. He wanted to spend all of his time with you and the two of you played together in your bedroom until it was time to open family gifts. He was just as excited as you were about opening your new "Puh-Puh" (Spongebob) swimsuit and swimshirt! You got a pool floaty and a new beach towel, too! Right after that, our family foursome celebrated the rest of the day by going to the public pool. This was your first swimming experience (other than wading pools) and you absolutely loved it!

Today, Logan suggested we give you a mo-hawk. I thought it was a good idea, so that's just what we did. You now have a mo-hawk haircut. :) You look so adorably cool!

We have a DvD that you love to watch called "Potty Power". You've asked to watch "Pa-ee" daily, lately. Well, today, you took off your diaper and headed to the bathroom. You sat on the potty chair for a few seconds, stood up to inspect the inside, sat down again, and repeated this a few more times. Although the potty remained empty, I am SO PROUD OF YOU for initiating and attempting to potty!! I love you!
